Matt Marcewicz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming and took graduate courses in International Management and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Odense in Denmark. He was hired by Paine Webber (Now UBS) as a financial advisor in 2001, and quickly became an analyst for one of UBS’s senior advisors in the Princeton, NJ office. After moving back to his native Reno, Mr. Marcewicz worked as a securities analyst/investment advisor at Merrill Lynch. He left the firm in 2008 during the financial crisis and worked for a few family offices before joining Cypress Strategies. He focuses on macroeconomics, financial analysis, and portfolio management for Cypress Strategies. Mr. Marcewicz currently holds FINRA 7 and 66 securities registrations. He also holds the prestigious French Wine Scholar title.
